What is an Experiential Field Trip?

Take your classroom outside with a hands-on, curriculum-connected learning experience at WILDE School Yukon.

Designed for K-7 classrooms, each Experiential Field Trip (EFT) is led by an experienced outdoor educator and intentionally connected to grade-level curriculum. Students explore, investigate and learn through real-world experiences in the Yukon outdoors.

Choose from half-day or full-day programs designed to support your classroom learning while building curiosity, confidence and connection.

Where does the learning happen?

Most programs take place at the WILDE School Yukon campus at 18 Metropolit Lane in Whitehorse. Canoeing programs take place at Long Lake, Chadburn Lake, Schwatka Lake, Yukon River, or Jackson Lake.
