About WILDE Forest Therapy
What is Forest Therapy?
Guided nature-connection experiences for youth and adults that use the principles of Forest Therapy (known in Japanese as Shinrin-Yoku) to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Forest Therapy sessions nurture mindfulness, reduce stress, and build a deeper sense of belonging within the natural world—strengthening both personal and ecological wellbeing.
What to Expect
Forest Therapy is led by a certified Forest Therapist in a natural setting.
The benefits of nature contact and immersion are widely known and forest therapy helps maximize the benefits.
In forest therapy, the forest is the therapist and the guide opens the door. It's not what people typically imagine when they hear the term therapy. It is typically a very relaxing and sometimes meditative experience.

"I like WILDE School because we get to learn outside and explore real forests instead of just reading about them. It makes school way more fun."
